Quincy team composed mostly of “members of the Quincy High team that won the New England High School soccer championship three years ago …” In the 1934-35 season-opener, Freddy Greer, “a Quincy boy who was leading the attack of the Celtics,” intentionally missed a late penalty kick as the teams drew, 1-1, at the Fore River Field.
