Boston Soccer Club won the national championship, then contested between the ASL and St. Louis titlists, earning a trip to visit President Coolidge at the White House.

Goals: Jimmy Dunn, Pee Wee Fitzgerald; Johnny Ballantyne, Barney Battles, Tommy Fleming.

Internationals Mickey Hamill (Ireland/Manchester United, Manchester City), Alex McNab (Scotland/Greenock Morton) and Tommy Muirhead (Scotland/Rangers) led the way as Boston SC — later to be called the Wonder Workers — had a successful first season. Johnny Ballantyne had played for Partick Thistle and later would join Queen’s Park Rangers.

Game start delayed a half hour by “a light failure on Jersey Street … (in the second half) an explosion on Jersey St. … blacked out everything but Fenway’s tower lights … fans left the game aided by the automobile lights of cars owned by Fenway employees.”

Goals: Carlos Metidieri 2, Jorge Piotti, George Benitez (all former Boston players).
