Final game of U.S. post-1930 World Cup tour. James Brown, 21, headed to Manchester United in 1932, scored for the U.S. Carvalho Leite, who played in the 1930 World Cup and had scored for Brazil in a 4-3 win over the U.S. on April 17, 1930, converted one of Botafogo’s goals. Brown, Mike Bookie, Arnie Oliver, Bert Patenaude were playing their final game for the U.S. national team. Goals: Ariza, Carvalho Leite; Brown.
