Jan. 18, 1892 – Barre (Vt.) Rangers v Conanicut (Fall River, Mass.), Green Mountain Trotting Park, canceled

““The Barre Ranger foot ball eleven … members of the American Foot Ball Association, were draw to play against the Conanicut eleven … and given the choice of grounds. The Conanicuts informed Secretary Hood of Newark, N.J., that the Rangers have no enclosed grounds, and that they did not wish to come to this city. The Rangers have a large field at the Green Mountain Trotting Park, an enclosed lot. The local eleven is very indignant at the action of the Conanicuts.”
