The Revolution squandered a chance to defeat the Dynamo, playing with a man advantage for the final 20 minutes in 92-degree heat. The teams would play to a 1-1 draw, the Dynamo winning on penalty kicks, in the 2006 MLS Cup final on Nov. 13, 2006.
